  I can’t speak for a personal account but as far as a business account, I’d recommend staying away from this bank! If you are like me ( a small business owner) ,you need to deposit funds and have them readily available for use. Well this bank puts a 7 day hold on your first deposit and then the 2nd deposit was a 12 day hold. Both checks were from Suntrust and both were written from a large well known business in the area. To make matters worse, The branch manager of my local BB&T Is the person who open my account. He apparently didn’t complete a form that would allow me to call BB&T’s 800 number, because when I tried they told me They couldn’t speak with me about this business account because they do not have permission to speak with me. I’m the sole proprietor of the company and they can’t even speak with me about my businesses’money in their bank. As soon as I can access my funds, me and my business will be banking at a bank that is more helpful to small businesses !!! Owner Picking it Up & Laying it Down, LLC
